Terms of Service

By using What's Happening Aruba (the "app"), you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, but they are a legal agreement between you and Ritmo Solutions LLC.

The service

The app surfaces public information about events, venues, and happenings on Aruba. We aggregate from public sources, partner with venues, and add editorial picks. Event details (times, prices, line-ups) are provided as a convenience and may change without notice. Always confirm with the venue before you go.

Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. Don't impersonate other people or share an account with someone whose actions you don't want to be responsible for.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, copy, or republish event data at scale without our written permission.
• Don't use the app to harass other users, organisers, or venues.
• Don't try to break, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service.
• Don't post anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Content from venues and organisers

Event listings in the app come from two sources: (1) venues and organisers (the "merchants") who submit their events directly, and (2) publicly posted promotional content that Aruban venues share on their own social channels. We treat the latter as an implied licence to redistribute promotional event information for the venue's benefit, and we do our best to verify accuracy — but we don't guarantee it. If something looks wrong, please tell us.

Removal requests. If you are a venue or rights holder and want a listing or any associated media removed, email hola@whatshappeningaruba.com or use our contact form. We aim to action removal requests within 24 hours.

Merchants

If you list events as a merchant, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your event information, logos, and images inside the app and on the website for promotional purposes. You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any specific event will happen as listed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ritmo Solutions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the past 12 months, or (b) USD 50.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the app and these terms over time. If we make material changes to the terms, we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Aruba. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Aruba, unless local consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a case elsewhere.
